Lisa Marie Presley death: Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of Elvis Presley, passed away on Thursday after being admitted to the hospital earlier in the day, according to a statement from her mother. He was 54 years old.
In a statement released Thursday night, Priscilla Presley stated, “It is with a sad heart that I must deliver the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.” She was the most fervent, powerful, and loving woman I’ve ever met.
Only a few hours earlier, Priscilla Presley had verified that Lisa Marie Presley had been taken to the hospital in a critical condition earlier that day.
According to Craig Little, a spokesman for the county’s fire department, paramedics from Los Angeles County were called to a Calabasas residence at 10:37 a.m. after a woman was reported to be in full cardiac arrest. Presley lived at that address, according to property records.
About six minutes later, according to Little, paramedics showed up. After performing CPR, paramedics “found the patient had signs of life,” according to a later statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, and they immediately transported her to a hospital in the adjacent West Hills.
About 30 miles (50 kilometres) northwest of downtown Los Angeles, Calabasas is tucked between the Santa Monica and Santa Susanna Mountains’ foothills.
Tuesday’s Golden Globes were visited by Presley, 54, who was there to celebrate Austin Butler’s win for his portrayal of her father in “Elvis.”
In an interview with “Entertainment Tonight” on the red carpet, she referred to his performance as “mind-blowing.”
She admitted to ET that after watching Baz Luhrmann’s film, she “just didn’t know what to do with myself.”
“It was so incredible and so accurate and just so true that, yeah, I can’t even articulate what it meant,” the author said. “I had to take, like, five days to comprehend it.”
Just a few days earlier, she was in Memphis, Tennessee, at Graceland, the home of Elvis, to commemorate her father’s birthday on January 8th.
When Kristen Sainato learned of Elvis Presley’s passing on Thursday, she and her husband were travelling to Memphis from Cleveland. When she spoke about meeting Presley at a celebration of her father’s birthday on January 8 at Graceland, she was dressed in a black jacket with the recognisable TCB lightning bolt (shorthand for (taking care of business in a flash) on the back. At Graceland’s main entrance, Sainato placed a bunch of flowers on the ground.
She answered, “Those are for Lisa.”
One of the last links to her famous father, according to her, was Lisa Marie Presley.
“This has surprised everyone. Why? Why did this need to occur? Standing in front of the stone wall that surrounds the former residence turned museum, Sainato stated while dabbing tears from her eyes. She deserved a long and fulfilling life.
In a recent essay about “the horrible reality” of her grief in the wake of her son Benjamin Keough’s suicide in 2020, Presley wrote for People. Riley Keough, an actor, and her twin daughters are also mothers thanks to Presley.
Since I was nine years old, I have dealt with death, sadness, and loss. I’ve experienced more of it than anyone should have in a lifetime, and yet somehow I’ve managed to get this far,” she wrote in August.
