You must be resolute in keeping it confidential. The thrill in a magical act is in its being clandestine. Reveal it and the excitement and enigma ceases.
The excellent magician who exposes his secrets can be popular on Guinness; however, he loses his prominence and respect with other magicians and admirers. You gain their awe, respect, and admiration as you present your enchanted trade and wizardry before a crowd to amaze them.

- Show off your skills solely on appropriate circumstances.It is best that you show off your talent solely when requested. Save it if your target audience is all that naive and innocent when it comes to magic tricks. Do not satiate your viewers with too many performances at any given time.
- Keep them in suspended animation.Keep your audience always asking for more since most of the enjoyment of magic tricks is in being suspenseful. This also guarantees that you will not bore your audience.
Since not all people like magic, it is advisable to do a trial and error kind of thing. This classical rule also exists in show business.
- Mastering a single trick is far better than slightly studying a lot.The excellent impression of one well-pulled trick is a lot better than several common place tricks. Broaden your horizons by studying many tricks. However, concentrate on just a few to master.
- Always seek perfection. Never stop rehearsing your thing.Always know your audience by heart so that you can perform the most appropriate trick for them. Avoid being put into a compromising situation.
