9. You will then see where it says the password reset instructions were sent to your alternate e-mail address.
   Most Hotmail users allow their web browsers to store their Hotmail password. Each web browser stores the Hotmail password in a different manner. Methods for recovering these stored passwords differ for each web browser. Internet Explorer store passwords in what is called Microsoft Protected Storage.
