How to Deal with Error Loading Operating System Error

The Error Loading Operating System error occurs when the operating system does not load properly and is unique to users of the Microsoft Windows XP operating system.  More specifically it exists when there is an issue with the way the BIOS and the Windows XP operating system are communicating with each other. The BIOS (basic input/output system) is a boot firmware designed to be the first code run by a computer when it is powered on.

The BIOS may not support the capacity of the hard disk on which the Windows XP is installed and therefore results in an error.  This error is usually accompanied by a black screen and is seen once you restart the computer having installed the file-copy portion of Windows XP.
