Required Utensils

Chopping board
Stainless knife
Non-aluminum cooking pot
Rimmed serving plate

Required Ingredients

Four pieces eggplant
Crushed garlic pieces
Sliced Onions
4 tablespoons vinegar
A pinch of salt
Some black pepper
Water for boiling eggplant

Steps to Cooking This Eggplant Dish

1. Wash clean the 4 pieces of eggplant in running water and boil in the non-aluminum cooking pot. Aluminum pots change its color. When cooking this eggplant dish, make sure the cap and stem at the tip of it is cut off before washing and boiling. This is the first step on how to cook eggplant properly. Use stainless steel for cutting. Knives with carbon blades tend to discolor it.

2. After about 30 to 40 minutes boiling on high heat, take the eggplants out of the pot and slice over the chopping board. Then, using the flat side of the knife, press to flatten them thoroughly.
