How to Cook Beef Tenderloin
Beef Tenderloin is a popular as well as expensive cut it’s a large cut right out of the short loin section that makes it the center of tenderness as such it is the juiciest and most flavorful of meats
Required Materials
- 4 Pieces of Beef Tenderloin
- 4tbsp of ground black pepper
- 2tbsp of olive oil
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp salt
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1/4 cup prepared horseradish, drained
- 1 tablespoon minced chives
- 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
- Dash hot red pepper sauce
Required Tools
- Roasting Pan
- Oven
Instructions
- Preheat Oven to 450 degrees F and ensure that the tenderloin was removed 30 minutes before attempting to cook it
- Rub the garlic olive black pepper and salt onto the tenderloin and then place in the Roasting pan
- Place the meat in the oven and let it cook on one side for 4-5 minutes before turning it over repeating this process repeatedly until both sides are evenly cooked.
- Remove the Tenderloin from the oven and wrap in aluminum foil. Let it cool for approximately minutes
- The burnt bits in the roasting pan can be whilst making the sauce combine it with the sour cream horseradish chives vinegar and hot pepper sauce blend all together and refrigerate.
- You can now slice and serve the tenderloin
Tips
- When slicing remember to slice against the grain as this makes the meat softer this dish is best served with mashed potatoes or steaming hot rice
